Former USA Gymnastics team doctor Larry Nassar has been sentenced to 60 years in federal prison.
Sports Illustrated reports that Nassar, 54, is being sentenced for child pornography charges.
Back in July, he plead guilty to three federal charges after having thousands of child pornography images and videos.
Nassar also plead guilty to obstruction of justice because he was caught trying to get rid of the evidence.
Nassar was sentenced to 20 years on three counts and will have to serve them as three consecutive sentences.
The judge said:
“He has demonstrated that he should never again have access to children.”
Nassar has also plead guilty to ten sexual assault charges, which will get sentences next month. Those charges could bring him up to life in prison.
Aly Raisman, McKayla Maroney, Gabby Douglas and Jamie Dantzscher have all spoken out against Nassar and alleged abuse themselves.
That totals more than 140 women who have filed lawsuits against Nassar.
