Mark Briggs says Heart Health Park is ‘second to none’ in the USL Championship

Spring is in the air, and you know what that means: Sacramento Republic FC soccer is right around the corner.
Republic FC coach Mark Briggs joined The Drive Guys Thursday to talk about the forthcoming USL Championship season. They also discussed the highs and lows of the last few seasons, and what the focus is going into Saturday night’s season opener. Plus, could the Quails hoist silverware by the fall?

It’s second to none, It’s incredible,” Mark Briggs said Thursday about the home crowd. “It’s one of the reasons I initially wanted to come here was the environment I experienced as a visiting coach. And now I’m fortunate enough to have that support behind me and behind the team. I think it’s an incredible environment. It’s the best environment at our level. I would say it’s a better environment that a lot of MLS teams.”
