The Athletics have been playing their best baseball of the season over the past couple of weeks, and reinforcements are on the way.
Since July 23rd, the Athletics hold a record of 19-10 over their past 29 games, bringing them within 11 games of the .500 mark.
All-Star shortstop Jacob Wilson returned from a wrist injury over the weekend, while left-handed pitcher Jacob Wilson was added to the injured list due to a forearm injury.
Below, you’ll find Athletics injury updates for Lopez, who underwent testing on Monday, as well as Luis Severino, Denzel Clarke, and more.
Kotsay said he’s hopeful Jacob Lopez could return at some point before the end of the season, even if it’s just a few innings out of the bullpen.
