Eric Martins, third base coach for the Athletics, joined The Allen Stiles Show on Tuesday to discuss Nick Kurtz’s historic performance as the rookie went 6-6, including four home runs and eight runs batted in.

The 22-year-old became the first rookie to have four home runs in a game, and just the 20th player all-time to accomplish that feat.

“I haven’t even done that on a video game,” Martins joked.

Stiles also asked Martin his perspective on the current and future state of the highly competitive MLB’s American League West and plenty more.
