The location of the 2025 NBA All-Star game is official.

Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors will play host as the NBA announced that the Bay Area has been selected to host the 74th NBA All-Star Game on Sunday, Feb. 16, 2025. This is the first time the Chase Center, which opened in 2019, hosts the All-Star game and the third time the Warriors organization has hosted the event.

The last time Golden State hosted was in 2000 at the Oracle Arena, which featured a timeless performance by Vince Carter in the NBA’s Slam Dunk competition.

“We are thrilled to host our NBA All-Star festivities in the San Francisco Bay Area, where there is a long and storied history of basketball,” NBA Commissioner Adam Silver said in a press release. “I want to thank Joe Lacob, Peter Guber and the entire Warriors organization for their support in bringing NBA All-Star back to the Bay Area.”

Additional All-Star weekend events will held throughout the Bay Area, with events like the All-Star Celebrity Game and Saturday’s festivities taking place at the Moscone Convention Center, Oakland Arena and the Warriors’ Oakland Facility.

The 2024 NBA All-Star game is scheduled to take place in Indianapolis, home of the Pacers.
