Sacramento Kings Announce 2026 NBA Summer League Roster

The Sacramento Kings announced their Summer League roster, headlined by first-round pick Darius Acuff Jr.

The Sacramento Kings have officially announced their 2026 NBA Summer League roster, which will be fans’ first chance to see their newly drafted rookies, along with returning second- and third-year players.

The roster is headlined by Darius Acuff Jr., a lottery pick from Sacramento’s 2026 draft class and a player who should naturally draw plenty of attention throughout Summer League. The Arkansas guard will be joined by Dylan Cardwell, Nique Clifford, Anthony Dell’Orso, BJ Edwards, Adam Flagler, Haowen Guo, Alex Karaban, Viktor Lakhin, Mitch Mascari, Jonathan Mogbo, Elias Ralph, Emanuel Sharp, Jamarion Sharp, Isaiah Stevens, and Marquel Sutton.

Acuff will obviously be a main focus, especially given Sacramento’s long-term need for guard development and offensive structure. It will be the first opportunity to see how he looks in a Kings uniform, even if Summer League results should always be taken with the proper context.

Cardwell also stands out as a returning player after spending last season in Sacramento’s system. His physicality, rebounding, and defensive energy should give the Kings a familiar frontcourt presence in this setting.

There are also several intriguing college names on the roster, including Dell’Orso from Arizona and Sutton from Louisiana State. The group gives Sacramento a wide mix of guards, wings, and frontcourt options to evaluate.

The Kings also have a few players with professional experience elsewhere, including Haowen Guo, who last played for the Nanjing Monkey Kings in China, and Viktor Lakhin, listed from the Oklahoma City Blue. Jonathan Mogbo, who has two years of NBA experience with the Toronto Raptors, is also among the more experienced players on the roster and a recent two-way contract addition.

Isaiah Stevens, who spent last season on a two-way contract with Sacramento, will give the team another guard with familiarity in the organization. Jamarion Sharp, listed at 7-foot-5, is another name that will be hard to miss, both literally and from a rim-protection standpoint.

Chris Darnell will serve as the Kings’ Summer League head coach. He will be joined by a large assistant staff that includes DJ Ham, Will Scott, Joe Ajike, Garrus Adams, Jason Maxiell, Shandon Götje, Dane Johnson, Steph Ingo and Imhotep “Tay” George.

Summer League provides Sacramento fans with a first look, beginning with Acuff and a roster full of players aiming to earn an opportunity at the next level.

The Sacramento Kings will now set their sights on the California Classic, with action set to run from July 4th through July 6th at Golden 1 Center.

New Kings point guard Darius Acuff Jr. (7th pick in the 2026 NBA Draft) will go head-to-head against Brooklyn Nets guard Mikel Brown Jr. (6th pick in the 2026 NBA Draft) at 2 pm PT on July 4th, right here in downtown Sacramento.
