Sacramento Kings 2022-23 Schedule Released

We know the Sacramento Kings kick off the season against the Portland Trail Blazers.
Now we know the remainder of the Sacramento Kings’ schedule.
Sacramento starts the season with a two-game homestand, against Portland and then the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday, Oct. 22. They then head to the Bay Area for their first road game. Four of the team’s first five games are at home. Three of the Kings’ first 12 opponents are the Golden State Warriors.
From the end of January through early February, the Kings will be on their longest road trip, playing seven games in five cities. Before they hit the road though, the Kings pop up on ESPN for their only nationally televised game on Jan. 23, against the Houston Rockets.
The Kings end the season with a home game against the Warriors on April 7 and play their final regular season game in Denver on April 9.

- The Kings take on the 2022 number one overall pick Paolo Banchero and the Orlando Magic on Saturday, Nov. 5.
- Kings travel to LA to meet LeBron and the Lakers for the first time on Friday, Nov. 11. The Lakers travel to Sacramento on Wednesday, Dec. 21.
- Tyrese Haliburton and Buddy Hield face off against their old team in Sacramento on Wednesday, Nov. 30.
- Jaden Ivey and the Detroit Pistons visit Sacramento on Sunday, Nov. 20.

Last week, the team announced its preseason schedule.ย The Sacramento Kings face off against the Portland Trailblazers for their first home preseason gameย on Sunday, Oct. 9. The team sees the Phoenix Suns and the Los Angeles Lakers twice during the four-game preseason.
The Kings hope to break a 16-season playoff drought this season. Following their off-season, fans believe this is the year it can happen. The Kings drafted Keegan Murray with the number four pick in the 2022 NBA Draft.ย Murray would eventually be named NBA Summer League MVPย after averaging 23.3 points and 7.3 rebounds in summer league play.
Once free agency kicked off, the Kings announced the signing ofย Malik Monk. The Kings then traded Maurice Harkless and Justin Holiday and a protected draft pick to theย Atlanta Hawks for Kevin Huerter.
Tickets for all Kingsโ preseason and regular season games go on sale Thursday, Aug. 18.
