After winning five straight games, UC Davis football (6-2) suffered just its second loss of the 2025 season on Saturday against Idaho State.

With three field goals made in No. 11 UC Davis football’s Saturday matchup against Idaho State, Aggie kicker Hunter Ridley was named the Fred Mitchell Award Kicker of the Week.
Ridley joins two others, Youngstown State’s Andrew Lastovka and Idaho State’s Trajan Sinatra, in receiving the honor.
The Aggie placekicker nailed all three of his kicks on Saturday (Nov. 1), hitting from 46, 26 and 23 yards out. The then-go-ahead 46-yarder tied a career-high and was his sixth kick of over 40 yards this season, and he is now 10-for-12 on the season.
