Netflix and ESPN Announce New 10-Hour Documentary Series On Michael Jordan

ESPN Films and Netflix  announced today they would produce a joint 10-part documentary series that will chronicle Michael Jordan and the 1990s Chicago Bulls titled  “The Last Dance.” The docu-series will examine the simultaneous rise of Jordan and the NBA during those years.

The documentary is alleged to have over 500 hours of never-before-seen footage from the team’s last championship run in the 1997-98 season. Michael Jordan, along with many of his former Bulls teammates and other NBA former-greats , are to fully participate.

The series is slated to premiere in 2019.
