Raiders Fail To Score Touchdown (Again), Fall to Chargers

Make in nine straight quarters now, 135 minutes of live action, that the Oakland Raiders have been held out of the end zone. Sunday, the Los Angeles Chargers entered a less-than capacity Oakland Coliseum and handed the Raiders their 8th loss of the season, 20-6.
Derek Carr did manage to go the whole game without an interception, but did lose a fumble during one of the four times he was sacked. Other than that, Carr had a decent game, completing 64% of his passes for 243 yards. Los Angeles’ Philip Rivers on the other hand was able to find the end zone twice, but also threw and interception.
The Chargers improve to 7-2 on the season after their 6th straight win, but still find themselves behind the 9-1 Kansas City Cheifs in the AFC West. The Raiders, meanwhile, are all the way down at the bottom with their 1-8 record, currently worst in the NFL.
Jon Gruden and the Raiders will prepare for their meeting with the Cardinals this week in Arizona.
