The team reached a deal with the San Francisco Giants and the announcement is expected later in the week, according to Mathai’s tweet.
The Raiders will be the second professional football team to call the newly-named Oracle Park their home as the stadium hosted the San Francisco Demons in 2001. Cal football also used the stadium as a temporary home in 2011 when Memorial Stadium was under renovation. From 2002-2013, the park also hosted the Fight Hunger Bowl, formerly known as the Emerald Bowl and San Francisco Bowl.
Oracle Park has also been home to the San Francisco Giants since 2000.
The Raiders were rumored to move to San Diego, Santa Clara, and even London before the report of San Francisco came out. The Raiders will be relocating to Las Vegas after the 2019 season.
