On Dqy 3 of the new league year, the 49ers will be getting one of their key interior offensive lineman back for another season.
Reports surfaced Friday morning that OL Jon Feliciano and the San Francisco 49ers have agreed to a one-year deal, keeping him in The Bay for 2024. After being a key platoon for the Red & Gold last season, Feliciano returns, looking to carve out more of a starting role next season.
NFL Network’s Peter Schager was first with the news, as local media, and the player, confirming the deal thereafter.
No further details regarding the contract have been released at this time.

Jon Feliciano, 32, joined the 49ers during the 2023 offseason on a one-year deal for $3.25 million. Known as steady lineman, he outplayed his expectations, to the point that SF was forced to use his as a platoon at both guard positions. He finished last season as Pro Football Focus’s No.4-graded run blocker and the 24th-best pass blocker on 478 offensive snaps.
Feliciano was a vital part of the 49ers O-Line leading into Super Bowl LVIII, replacing RG Spencer Burford. A pectoral injury led to his departure from the game after 31 snaps. SF would go on to lose the game to Kansas City, 25-22, with the right side of the O-Line being a concern.
Now entering Year 2 with the 49ers, there’s a very high likelihood that he could be the starting right guard in 2024.
Key offseason dates for the San Francisco 49ers
- March 24-27 – Annual league meeting in Orlando
- April 25-27 – NFL Draft in Detroit
