Sacramento Republic FC Owner Kevin Nagle probably didn’t get much sleep last night.

On Thursday morning, Nagle joined Carmichael Dave and JayMarZZ on The Carmichael Dave Show with Jason Ross to talk about the Republic’s win from inside an airplane. So late night plus early flight, yeah, sleep was probably lacking.

But sleep was probably an afterthought following the historic night which saw Sacramento Republic FC defeat Sporting Kansas City in the semifinals of the Lamar Hunt US Cup. After 120 minutes of no goals, the two teams faced off in penalty kicks, where the Republic outscored KC 5-4.

The MLS Orlando City SC faces off against the USL Sacramento Republic FC on Wednesday, Sept. 7.

Topics discussed include:

  • The highs and lows of the Sacramento Republic FC’s history
  • The finals matchup against Orlando City SC
  • What the win means for the club and the city
  • How the team can make history in Orlando
  • The impact of Rodrigo Lopez
  • Is a trip to Disney in the works for Dave and Republic FC Owner Kevin Nagle before the matchup against Orlando
