Return of the Empire: 49ers begin 2024 postseason with seven-seed Packers

Instead of the Los Angeles Rams, the 49ers will see Green Bay in Round 1 of the NFC playoffs, promising to be another tense showdown of NFC rivals in Round 2.
On an all-new episode of the Return of the Empire, Amil Fragoso and Nate Littlefield break down the 2024 NFL Super Will-Card Weekend, and what a win over the Dallas Cowboys says about the Packers. “[Green Bay Packers QB] Jordan Love played the game of his life in his playoff debut. He’s been phenomenal down the stretch…It’s gonna be a huge test for us this weekend. I’m not taking the Packers lightly. The Cowboys must’ve taken the Packers lightly,” 49ers linebacker Fred Warner said this week.
“We are going to have to put together a great week of preparation. I said from the start, whoever gotta come into Levi’s, bring em on…It’s gonna be such an electric atmosphere, such a fun atmosphere to be a part of. It’s gonna be one for the ages.”
