Sacramento Kings to host clinics emphasizing mental, physical health

The Sacramento Kings want to get their fans moving and feeling good.

On Wednesday, the team announced local activities and clinics that promote and focus on improving mental and physical health. In the team’s press release, Sacramento Kings Chief Operating Officer Matina Kolokotronis said it’s important to promote health and wellness in the community.

“Kaiser Permanente strongly believes we have a responsibility to play a leading role in improving the health and well-being of our communities,” Kaiser Permanente Chief of Sports Medicine and Sacramento Kings Team Physician Jason Brayley said in the release. “Since the beginning of our partnership, we have been working closely with the NBA and locally, with the Kings organization, on a wide range of community initiatives. We are continuing to share the important message of fostering total health.”

As part of the NBA FIT Initiative, the Sacramento Kings organization will hold community clinics, emphasizing health and improving one’s well being.

  • August TBD – 2023-24 NBA regular season schedule release
  • September TBD – Kings training camp begins
  • October TBD – Kings preseason begins
  • Tuesday, October 24th – NBA regular season begins
