The Sacramento Kings know their fans love free food. Just watch the crowd’s reaction after an opponent misses two free throws and gets everyone a free Crumbl Cookie.

Now, fans will have a chance at free chicken sandwiches from Chick-fil-A.

For eight select games this season, and by downloading the Chick-fil-A app, fans will have the chance to receive a free chicken sandwich. Sacramento-area Chick-fil-A restaurants are also now the official sponsor of the Kings Cowbell, at the game and on the Kings app.

“We are pleased to once again partner with Chick-fil-A Sacramento to enhance the gameday experience for fans,” Sacramento Kings President of Business Operations John Rinehart said in a press release. “The cowbell is a representation of the pride and passion of our fans and as we honor 100-years of royalty we will celebrate the unique history of the franchise with this tremendous partner.”

Chick-fil-A joins local restaurants that help Kings fans eat for free if there’s a big moment in the game. Right now, fans can get free:

  • Mountain Mike’s Pizza if the Sacramento Kings win halftime
  • Crumbl Cookies if the opposing team misses two consecutive free throws
  • Taco Bell at the Downtown K Street location if the Kings make 10 3-point shots during a home game.
