Sacramento Kings President of Business Operations John Rinehart joined Cattles and Ramie Thursday to talk about the beam, playoff reaction from Kings fans, and what people can expect from the watch parties and rally.
Rinehart announced that tickets for the team’s playoff watch parties at the Golden 1 Center during away games will become available to the public on Tuesday, April 18. No time was given during the interview.
“You will need a ticketed reservation so we can control the crowds and how many people can actually fit in the building for the viewing parties. The reservations for those tickets will likely be open on Tuesday morning after our second home game on Monday. People will be able to go online and reserve their tickets,” Rinehart said.
Additional topics discussed include:
- A brief history of the idea behind the beam
- Ramie pitches his idea of 16 beams during the playoffs
- Is the beam now the staple of the Kings or will the organization continue to expand on it
- Why there are no watch parties during home games at DOCO
- He’s not surprised by the reaction from fans at the team making the playoffs for the first time since 2006
- What can people expect from the team’s playoff rally in DOCO Friday night
