The Kings tapped Duke University for the second time in the 2018 draft when they selected former Blue Devils guard Gary Trent Jr. with the No. 37 overall pick. They quickly flipped Trent to Portland for a pair of future second-round picks and cash considerations according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Trent  averaged 14.5 points-per-game last season while shooting a blistering 40.2 percent from three-point range on more than six attempts per game.

Unless they trade into the second round or purchase a pick, the Kings are finished picking in this year’s draft.
