Sacramento Kings 2023-24 schedule includes 22 nationally televised games

Mark your calendars: Sacramento Kings basketball is near.

The Kings released its schedule for the 2023-24 regular season on Thursday afternoon, giving fans several dates to highlight on their calendars for this coming fall and winter.

Sacramento will open the regular season in Utah on Wednesday, October 25th, before returning home to face the Golden State Warriors at Golden 1 Center on Friday, October 27th.

After playing in five nationally broadcasted games during the 2022-23 regular season, the Kings have 22 national TV games scheduled for 2023-24.

Along with Sacramento’s home opener against Golden State (ESPN), the Kings will face their Northern California rival in front of a TNT audience on Tuesday, November 28th.

  • Wednesday, November 15th @ Los Angeles Lakers (ESPN)
  • Friday, November 17th @ San Antonio Spurs (ESPN)
  • Tuesday, November 28th vs. Golden State Warriors (TNT)
  • Thursday, January 25th @ Golden State Warriors (TNT)
  • Tuesday, February 13th @ Phoenix Suns (TNT)
  • Sunday, February 25th @ Los Angeles Clippers (ESPN)
  • Wednesday, March 13th vs. Los Angeles Lakers (ESPN)
  • Tuesday, March 26th vs. Dallas Mavericks (TNT)
  • Tuesday, April 2nd vs. Los Angeles Clippers (TNT)
  • Thursday, April 11th vs. New Orleans Pelicans (TNT)

Along with 11 combined games on ESPN and TNT, the Kings will also have eleven games broadcasted on NBA TV during the 2023-24 regular season.

For comparison, Sacramento had six national TV games in 2022-23, including NBA TV broadcasts.

Here are some other notes and takeaways from the Sacramento Kings’ schedule release:

Home Stands

Sacramento has two six-game home stands in 2023-24, one in December and one in March.

  • December 14th through 23rd: OKC, UTA, WAS, BOS, PHX, MIN
  • March 7th through 18th: SAS, HOU, MIL, LAL, NYK, MEM

Home for March

If you were looking for a lengthy stretch of home games at Golden 1 Center, March is your month for Kings home games.

Sacramento will play 11 of its 16 games in March at home while ending the month on a five-game home stand that extends into April.

Hitting The Road

The Kings will embark on their longest road trip of the season (seven games) from January 25th through February 5th.

Back-to-Backs

Sacramento will play 14 back-to-backs this year, one down from 15 during the 2022-23 season.

Of those 14 back-to-backs, only three are road-home back-to-backs, while the Kings will play six home-home back-to-backs.

In-Season Tournament

For the first time ever, the NBA has implemented an In-Season Tournament for the 2023-24 season.
