Sacramento Republic FC is moving on in the playoffs and will next compete Friday at home for the USL Championship’s Western Conference semifinals.
Tickets are still available after going on sale to the general public Monday. They have already been released for season ticket club members.
Republic FC won their first match of the playoffs this past weekend against New Mexico United, 1-0. It was the team’s fifth straight sold-out crowd of more than 11,000 at Cal Expo’s Heart Health Park.
Defender Conor Donovan scored his first goal of the season in the 12th minute with a header into the net on a cross from captain Rodrigo “RoRo” López.

Republic held on to their lead for the rest of the match, as goalie Danny Vitiello made two saves and notched his second straight clean sheet. Vitiello was recently awarded the 2023 Golden Glove in recognition of being the league’s best goalkeeper of the season.
