Stephen Curry saved 16 of his team-high 37 points for the fourth quarter, Klay Thompson buried a pair of late 3-pointers and the Golden State Warriors held off the visiting Brooklyn Nets for a 124-120 victory Saturday night.

Thompson finished with 24 points and four others scored in double figures for the Warriors, who ended a three-game losing streak.

Cam Thomas had a game-high 41 points for the Nets, who had two shots at either a tie or a lead in the final 1:28 before losing for the third time in four outings on a five-game trip.

The Warriors led by as many as 18 points in the first half, but the Nets came all the way back within the first 15 minutes of the second half to take a 99-97 lead on a Mikal Bridges 3-pointer.

The Warriors trailed 103-102 inside 7:00 when Curry took charge of the game. He scored 12 consecutive Golden State points, making five straight shots, including a pair of 3-pointers, to give the hosts a 114-106 lead.

Thompson then took over for Curry and nailed his two 3-pointers, the latter creating a 120-115 advantage with 2:54 left before Brooklyn made a late run.

A Royce O’Neale 3-pointer made it a two-point game with 2:14 to go. The Nets had a turnover with a chance to tie before Spencer Dinwiddie misfired on a 3-pointer with a chance to put Brooklyn in front with 1:28 lead.

After Curry and Nic Claxton traded hoops, the Nets had another chance to tie, but Bridges couldn’t drop in a driving layup, after which Curry completed the game’s scoring with an interior hoop with 17.1 seconds left.

Curry shot 14-for-22 overall and 6-for-8 on 3-pointers for the Warriors, who made 17 of their 32 3-point attempts.

Brandin Podziemski (19), Andrew Wiggins (14), Dario Saric (12) and Jonathan Kuminga (10) also scored in double figures for the Warriors. Kevon Looney chipped in with a team-high seven rebounds and Chris Paul with a team-high 11 assists.

Despite missing his career high by six points, Thomas shot 15-for-24 overall and 5-for-13 on 3-pointers.

Claxton (19 points, game-high 12 rebounds) and Dinwiddie (16 points, game-high 14 assists) posted double-doubles for the Nets, while Bridges finished with 18 points, Cam Johnson 13 and O’Neale 11.
