MLB released the list of nominees — 50 pitchers and 72 position players — eligible for this year’s All-MLB Team honors.

Giants pitchers Logan Webb and Camilo Doval are the only two San Francisco players featured on the ballot.

Webb was recently named a finalist for the NL Cy Young Award because of his performance last season. The Rocklin native posted an 11-13 record, 3.25 ERA, and 1.07 WHIP over 33 starts. However, his strong performance didn’t get much bat support. In fact, Webb ranked dead-last in run support among all MLB starters with 20 or more starts (3.09 runs per start).

Doval made his first career All-Star appearance last season and ended the year appearing in 69 games, going 6-6 and posting a 2.93 ERA. The Giants closer was able to record 39 saves, too.

How does voting work for the 2023 All-MLB Team?

Fans will get the chance to decide the winners, who will be announced on Saturday, Dec. 16. Fifty percent of votes come from fans and the other 50% comes from a panel of experts — media members, broadcasters, former players and other officials.

Voting is allowed once every 24 hours until Sunday, Nov. 19. Fans are asked to consider only the player’s regular-season performance.

Fans can make their picks for the 2023 All-MLB Team online.
