Four years into its existence, AEW is still debuting in new cities.
On Wednesday, AEW Dynamite and Rampage make their grand debut at the Stockton Arena.
Coming off of Sunday’s WrestleDream PPV, there’ll be plenty of action. Fans will hear from Adam Copeland, formerly known as Edge in WWE, as well as see tag-team action between Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega against Sammy Guevara and Konosuke Takeshita.
Anthony Bowens, one-third of the reigning AEW World Trios Champions, is excited to bring the gift of The Acclaimed to a new audience.
“It’s always exciting to go to a new place and a new market, so I’m excited to get up there in Stockton on Wednesday,” Bowens said. “The company’s been around for about four years or so and we’ve been traveling every week since then. So it’s interesting to see how many cities that we haven’t hit yet.”
While no match has been announced yet for The Acclaimed in Stockton, Bowens sees him, Max Caster and Billy Gunn continuing to defend the AEW Trios titles every single week.
“Going to each city, bringing the scissor party and making sure we put a smile on people’s faces,” Bowens said, “We like to have fun and we like to go out and prove every single week why we’re elite and I think we’re going to do that to close out 2023.”

A noted San Francisco Giants fan, Bowens was hopeful for a winning season, and even a run at the World Series.
“We got some retooling to do,” Bowens said. “And despite the season I’m looking forward to what 2024 has in store for the team.”
