CBS Sports NBA Insider Bill Reiter joined Cattles & Ramie Friday to discuss his thoughts on the Kings clinching a playoff spot, if Sacramento is a playoff contender in the Western Conference, and if some accolades are in order for the coaching staff.

All that and more on Cattles & Ramie.

“Yeah for Coach of the Year, it is Mike Brown. I mean, it’s not even close. It’s a remarkable turnaround,” Reiter said on the show. “It doesn’t matter what happens between now and the end of the year, Mike Brown is my Coach of the Year absolutely.”

Topics discussed include:

  • What surprised Bill the most about the Kings this season?
  • Are the Kings a real contender in the playoffs?
  • Can De’Aaron Fox ascend in the postseason?
  • Is Mike Brown the Coach of the Year?
  • Should Monte McNair win Executive of the Year?
  • Will the Lakers make a run in the playoffs with LeBron James?
  • Is Lebron at the tail-end of his career?
