Chris Biderman of the Sacramento Bee and Candlestick Chronicles Podcast joined Stiles & Watkins to talk about the Kings’ recent success on the road, the 49ers heading to the Super Bowl, and more.

The Kings followed a four-game losing streak with four consecutive wins, with the latest being a 103-94 win over the severely shorthanded Memphis Grizzlies on Monday night. Memphis took the floor on Monday night missing 10 players, but had won three of four heading into their matchup with the Sacramento Kings.

“It’s not all that concerning just given how the Grizzlies have proven that they can defend and they can play really hard. And Memphis is just a tough place to play in general,” Biderman said. “I’m not all that concerned. The Kings got the win, which is the most important thing.”

Additional topics discussed include:

  • Ben Johnson staying with the Detroit Lions as their offensive coordinator
  • Dan Campbell vs Kyle Shanahan’s playcalling and game management
  • The confidence level of the 49ers taking down the Chiefs at the Super Bowl
