The Sacramento Kings are suing the contractor in charge of their downtown hotel tower project, per CBS 13.

Kings claim that mismanagement over the project caused their budget to exceed it original planned cost by over $50 million.

The Kings claim that costs were originally going to be around $148 million, but now say the contractor, Swinerton Builders of San Francisco, has put the costs between $194-$198 million.

You can see the 16-story tower of the Kings Downtown Commons project still under construction along J Street.
