De’Aaron Fox Said Mike Brown Wants Him To Be ‘That Guy’ Offensively And Defensively

Sacramento Kings guard De’Aaron Fox spoke to the media on Friday about his excitement toward the return of rookie forward Keegan Murray. Fox also reflected on Wednesday’s season opener and explained what he can do better going forward to sharpen his late-game execution and what coach Mike Brown told him during and after the game.
The Sacramento Kings enter the 2022-23 season hoping to break a 16-year playoff drought. After hiring Mike Brown as the team’s new coach, the Kings drafted Keegan Murray with the number four overall pick. They continued to make moves over the summer, trading for Kevin Huerter and signing multiple free agents, including guard Malik Monk.
