Grant and Doug had a chance to catch up with the former Kings head coach on Wednesday afternoon
University of Arkansas head coach Eric Musselman joined the Grant Napear Show with Doug Christie earlier this week to talk hoops, coaching and much more.
Musselman, who has coached collegiately and professionally since 1989, was hired to become the head coach of the Razorbacks after a successful run with the Nevada Wolf Pack from 2015-19. The 55 year-old holds a career record of 130-46 in NCAA play.
Interview with Eric Musselman begins at the 17:38 mark
Arkansas finished the 2019-20 season with a 20-12 record, a season that was cut short due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
In 2006, Musselman was hired to replace Sacramento Kings head coach Rick Adelman. Sacramento went 33-49 during the 2006-07 season, his only year as head coach of the franchise.
Musselman’s .402 winning percentage ranks fourth among the Kings all-time coaching ranks.
Grant and Doug had an opportunity to speak to Musselman this week on Wednesday’s edition of the Grant Napear Show with Doug Christie. The guys got a lot of enlightening answers from the head coach when discussing what it was like to move from Reno to the SEC, how the recruiting process has gone during the COVID-19 pandemic and more.
