Sacramento Kings TV analyst Kayte Christensen joined The Carmichael Dave Show with Jason Ross as a guest host on Wednesday morning to discuss various sports topics.

During the show’s second hour, Dave and Kayte dove into a conversation about the recently-eliminated Golden State Warriors.

What was the driving factor behind the defending champions’ shortcomings in the playoffs–and why was this team so bad on the road this season? Was the Draymond Green-Jordan Poole altercation that happened before the season a driving factor?

During his end-of-season press conference on Tuesday, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr told the media that trust was one of the key issues with Golden State this season.

“Anytime some trust is lost, then it makes the process much more difficult, and there was some trust lost,” Kerr said. “That’s as blunt as I can be. We have to get back to what has made us really successful, which is a really trusting environment and a group that relies on one another and makes each other better.

“There’s no hiding from it. The incident with Draymond and Jordan at the beginning of the year played a role in that. It’s hard for that not to impact a team.”

Dave and Kayte discussed the possibility below:
