Harrison Barnes and Domantas Sabonis spoke to the media following Friday’s practice. During that time, the two were asked about Mike Brown’s postgame comments following Thursday’s win over the Knicks, where he criticized the team for allowing New York to dominate the boards.

“That just shows that he truly believes in us and that we have more levels to arise to, offensively and defensively,” Sabonis said. “It’s coming to the end of the season and the playoffs are going to start, so this is where we gotta tune up everything.”

Phoenix can help close the gap between themselves and the second-seed Kings with a win, while Sacramento can give itself more breathing room as the season gets closer to its conclusion.
