It’s now or never for the 2023 49ers, looking to turn its’ season around with a win on the road in Jacksonville.

The San Francisco 49ers leave their bye week feeling rested and recharged, hoping they can rally to become NFC contenders in January. But first, they have a clash with the AFC South leading Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 10, a game that should be competitive throughout.

After starting the season undefeated at 5-0, the Red & Gold have fallen to 5-3, thanks to three consecutive defeats. The latest loss came Week 8, losing to the Cincinnati Bengals at home, 31-17.

On the flip side, Jacksonville is currently on a five-game win streak before entering their Bye Week as well. They last beat the Pittsburgh Steelers, 20-10, in Week 8.

The 49ers have been dominated in this matchup historically, holding an all-time record of 4-2 on the Jaguars. That includes four-straight wins over the Florida franchise, last winning, 30-10, in 2021.

But with both teams recharged after a week off, the competitive advantage falls to the home side. And at a crucial point in the regular season, San Francisco knows they need to deliver Week 10 to get back on a roll.

“Yeah, it’s huge. We just need to win. We need to win. Have that feeling again of winning and then get on a streak and roll. The second half of the season’s huge,” 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy said Thursday. “Whenever our backs are against the wall, we play some really good football. We’re a talented team…Once we’re hungry and set our goals and need it, we can do a lot.”

What time does the regular-season game start?

Kickoff is set for 10:00 a.m. PST on Sunday, Nov. 8th, at TIAA Bank Field in Jacksonville, Florida.

Where can I watch the game?

The game will air live on FOX. The broadcast team includes Joe Davis and Daryl Johnston in the booth, with Pam Oliver as the sideline reporter.
