Coming off their second loss in three weeks, the 49ers look to steer the ship back on track this week when they face the Los Angeles Rams on Monday Night Football.
Sunday in Denver was a forgettable one for San Francisco, not only losing to the Broncos, 11-10, but also losing their star left tackle Trent Williams to injury. Williams suffered a high ankle sprain and will be out four to six weeks.
Meanwhile, the Rams and quarterback Matthew Stafford progressed to 2-1 last Sunday, holding off the Arizona Cardinals, 20-12.
A divisional rivalry with bad blood sprinkled all over it, head coach Kyle Shanahan’s only goal is to take care of business in front of The Faithful Monday night.
“I feel like a win’s important. I would love to get a win and then we’ll see how we play the next week,” Shanahan said Thursday.
