Here is yet another list for the upcoming NFL season. After looking at the top 10 wide receivers and running backs, not it’s time to focus on the top 10 quarterbacks.

10. Kyler Murray – Arizona Cardinals – Murray continues to get better and is well rounded with his offensive game. Murray is a run threat but also can hurt you with his arm.

He nearly hit the 4,000 yard mark in passing and was also able to churn out 819 rushing yards with 11 touchdowns. Murray has some good weapons and is looking more and more comfortable as his career progresses.

9. Ryan Tannehill – Tennessee Titans – Tannehill has played his best football the last couple of seasons. He really has found a groove despite not being over the top flashy.

Tannehill produces stats, protects the ball and wins games. He has the feel of a game manager but also makes the right plays at the right time.

8. Lamar Jackson – Baltimore Ravens – Still young and still very talented. It feels a little wrong to have a former MVP this low on the list but I want more from Jackson.

He is a dual threat for sure but feels like a bigger threat with his legs than his arm. He has a strong arm but the Ravens want to run first and maybe that hurts some of his passing stats.

7. Dak Prescott – Dallas Cowboys – His ankle injury last season derailed a strong start to his 2020 campaign. His ankle is better but his shoulder has questioned his arm going into this year.

Dak is a really good all around quarterback with strong leadership skills. He is one of the few that can handle the pressure of being a Cowboys QB. If he stays healthy, he should have a big year.

6. Deshaun Watson – Houston Texans – This is controversial based on what is going on with Watson. He will likely not play for a while and may be on a different team soon.

Watson can flat out play but the question is will he play again? His talent puts him here. Leaving off names like Herbert and Mayfield is tough but I could take Watson out and put one of those two in at 10 and slide the others down.

5. Tom Brady – Tampa Bay Buccaneers – The GOAT is one of the greatest winners from any sport of all time. He is still really good but others in the league have more talent.

He has truly maximized everything he has. To Brady’s credit he has also improved based on how seriously he takes the game and takes care of himself.

4. Josh Allen – Buffalo Bills – I think so highly of Allen. He is a great athlete that can run and is so big he is hard to take down. He has a cannon of an arm and now he has the confidence to back all those things up. Allen is still rising and that is good for Buffalo.

3. Russell Wilson – Seattle Seahawks – Wilson is still looking for that first NFL MVP award. He was tracking it last season before fading a bit at the end of the season. His ability to scramble and keep plays alive is a marvel to watch. He is durable and a winner and one of the best QB’s in the league.

2. Aaron Rodgers – Green Bay Packers – His offseason was a mess, but his game is beautiful. The reigning MVP’s arm is still spectacular. Rodgers still runs just enough to keep defenses honest. Rodgers has the experience, the talent and the desire to keep playing at the highest of levels.

1. Patrick Mahomes – Kansas City Chiefs – Mahomes in an Andy Reid offense is a perfect match. Mahomes is just 25 and has all the goods. He is flashy, he is unorthodox at times but almost always productive. With weapons in place and a new offensive line, look for another monster year from Mahomes.
