It was not a fun Tuesday for the Sacramento Kings.
NBC Sports California analyst Kayte Christensen joined The Carmichael Dave Show with Jason Ross on Wednesday morning to share her thoughts on Sacramento’s rough loss to the struggling Portland Trail Blazers, contemplate what kind of players the Kings front office should target this trade season, and much more.
Plus: Is this the year that Sacramento should make a big trade?
Topics Discussed
- Kayte gives her analysis of what she saw during Sacramento’s loss in Portland
- “I don’t think this Portland team is a bad team.”
- “It wasn’t a De’Aaron and Domas problem, it was an everybody else problem.”
- Kayte says it was a terrible defensive effort from everybody on the floor
- Is there a specific area that would make this team better fast if upgraded?
- Matisse Thybulle is a type of player that Sacramento could benefit from
- Should fans expect the Kings front office to make a big move this season?
- Kayte says that the team could look to improve internally rather than break up the core
- “Is there a piece or two that will make a difference? I’m sure there is, but you kind of have to trust Monte [McNair] and Wes [Wilcox] to make those decisions.”
