Kevin Durant Praises Willie Cauley-Stein on CJ McCollum’s Podcast

Portland Trail Blazers guard CJ McCollum hosts an incredibly popular NBA podcast called “Pull Up”. This week, NBA Champion and Golden State Warriors forward Kevin Durant joined the show.

The pair talked about a large variety of NBA topics, including some fun banter about the Warriors’ success and Blazers’ struggles. Amongst the conversation, Durant brought up Sacramento Kings center Willie Cauley-Stein and both shared some praise of the big man’s athleticism.

Durant: “You know who I like a lot? Willie Cauley-Stein. I feel like he is the next one of those guys.

McCollum: “He is springy, springy. Like crazy springs.”

Durant: “Oh my goodness. He’s fast too. Get’s up and down the floor.”

McCollum: “Gets off the ground like as quick as anyone I’ve ever seen.”

Durant: “Once they get better in Sac, they’re gonna see his athleticism is ridiculous.”

McCollum: “Insane.”
