Once again, postseason basketball will include a Kings-Warriors matchup, this time in the play-in. Scheduled for Tuesday at 7 p.m. PST in Golden 1 Center, Golden State, and Sacramento will face off in a single-elimination; the loser goes home.

“For all of us to be able to do this is an invaluable learning experience,” Mike Brown said of the play-in opportunity. “I hope we come out on top, but for us to have to fight for that play-in spot and realize how good it will be to play at home.”

The winner of Tuesday’s Kings Warriors matchup will face the loser of the New Orleans Pelicans and Los Angeles Lakers. The loser will be watching from home. It’s an uphill battle for Sacramento, but anything can happen in single-elimination basketball.

Presale tickets are available now, but sales will be open to the general public tomorrow (Mon, April 15th) at 10:00 a.m. PST.

When is the next Sacramento Kings game?

The stage is set for a Kings vs. Warriors rematch.

Sacramento will get a chance at redemption on Tuesday night when it faces Golden State in another win-or-go-home showdown. The ninth-seed Kings will look to send the tenth-seed Warriors home when the two teams meet at Golden 1 Center.

Not even one year ago, Stephen Curry’s 50-point performance eliminated Sacramento in Game 7 of the NBA Playoffs’ opening round–a game that also took place on the Kings’ home floor.

Sacramento and Golden State split the regular season series 2-2 this season, with both teams winning one game at home and on the road.

Tip-off for Tuesday’s Play-In game against Golden State is to be determined.

Upcoming Schedule: Kings Warriors

  • Tuesday, April 16th – NBA Play-In (9th seed vs. 10th seed): Sacramento Kings vs. Golden State Warriors – TBD

NBA Postseason Schedule

  • Tuesday, April 16th-Friday, April 19th – NBA Play-In Tournament (Teams & matchups TBD)
