Las Vegas Raiders add JoJo Wooden as Senior Director of Player Personnel

New Las Vegas Raiders general manager Tom Telesco has hired someone from the Chargers organization he has a lot of familiarity with.
According to a press release from the team, Las Vegas has named JoJo Wooden as their Senior Director of Player Personnel of the Las Vegas Raiders. Wooden was the Chargers interim general manager when Los Angeles fired Telesco last season.
Prior to earning the interim title, Wooden was the Chargers’ Director of Player Personnel from 2013-23. Telesco was hired as the Chargers’ general manager in 2013, as well.

Before he moved to the West Coast, Wooden spent 16 seasons with the New York Jets in a variety of front-office roles. In his final six years with the Jets, he was the team’s Assistant Director of Player Personnel.
