Lead NBA writer for NBC Sports, Kurt Helin, joined Sactown Sports Monday afternoon to talk about the NBA 2023 Summer League and Victor Wembanyama, if the Sacramento Kings have done enough in free agency, and what team Damian Lillard will be on next season?

All that & more on Sactown Sports.

“I’m curious to see if [the Kings] make a move for someone else down the line. It’s the challenge is, I think the [Western Conference] got a little better,” Helin said on the show Monday. “I just think in a tougher west, that’s a good play but a lot of things went right with health and stuff last year and they kind of need it to go right again to repeat the success. And, this is a good team, this is a playoff team. But taking a step forward is going to be challenging.”

Additional topics discussed include:

  • Thoughts on Victor Wembanyama’s Summer League performance
  • How does Wemby look in-person compared to highlights?
  • Thoughts on the Kings’ 2023 free agency
  • Is Sacramento lined up for a big move in the future?
  • Will there be a NBA team in Las Vegas?
  • Where is Damian Lillard playing basketball next season?
