O.G. Anunoby if off the market, marking the first big trade of the NBA season.
On Saturday morning, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski posted to X that the Toronto Raptors have finalized a trade to send Anunoby to the New York Knicks in exchange for RJ Barrett, Immanuel Quickley, and a second-round pick.
Drafted by the Raptors in 2017, O.G. Anunoby helped Toronto win the NBA title in 2019.

Long a name associated with the Sacramento Kings, The Athletic’s Sam Amick reported in December that Anunoby, “does not appear to be of significant interest to the Kings.” However, that doesn’t mean his now-former teammate Pascal Siakam can’t still come to Sacramento.
Also in December, The Athletic’s Shams Charania reported the Kings are an expected suitor for Siakam.
Siakam, who is currently making $37.8 million in the final year of his contract, would be the defensive difference-maker that the Kings have been looking for. The 29-year-old stands at 6’8, 230 pounds with an incredible 7’3 wingspan.
