The 2022 NBA Draft is less than one week away, and it is still unknown what the Sacramento Kings will do with its fourth-overall pick.

During Friday morning’s edition of The Carmichael Dave Show with Jason Ross, CBS Sports college basketball analyst Gary Parrish joined the program to preview Thursday’s draft and shed some light on what Kings general manager Monte McNair might do with the selection.

Topics discussed:

  • Does the “draft start at four” with Sacramento’s pick?
  • Gary predicts the top-three selections of the draft
  • “If I’m Sacramento picking fourth, you have a shot to add a real superstar there.”
  • Is Jaden Ivey the best player available at fourth if Chet Holmgren, Jabari Smith, and Paolo Banchero go 1-3?
  • If Gary was in Monte McNair’s chair, what would he do with the fourth pick?
  • In the chance that one of the ‘Big 3’ fall to the Kings at fourth, is it a no-brainer to select them?
  • “There are some NBA franchises that would take Jaden Ivey with the first pick.”
