Rodrigo Lopez Discusses Why Sacramento Deserves An MLS Club

Rodrigo Lopez was instrumental in Wednesday night’s win against Sporting Kansas City.
The Sacramento Republic FC forward joined The Carmichael Dave Show with Jason Ross on Friday, two days after the team defeated Sporting KC in the semifinals of the Lamar Hunt US Cup. After 120 minutes of no goals, the two teams faced off in penalty kicks, where the Republic outscored KC 5-4. Rodrigo Lopez delivered the final blow, securing the win for the Republic.
The MLS Orlando City SC faces off against the USL Sacramento Republic FC on Wednesday, Sept. 7, in the championship game.
