According to league sources, the Sacramento Kings have extended qualifying offers to center Neemias Queta and guard Keon Ellis, making both players restricted free agents.
By making Queta and Ellis free agents, the Kings will own the right to match any offer sheets that the players might sign with other teams this summer.
Both players were on two-way contracts during the 2022-23 season, splitting time with Sacramento and the franchise’s G-League affiliate in Stockton.
The Sacramento Bee’s Jason Anderson was the first to break the news on Sacramento’s two-way duo.

Queta, a second-year big out of Utah State, finished the season with averages of 16.8 points, 8.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.9 blocks per game while shooting 68 percent from the field for a Stockton team that finished the season with a record of 25-7.
Among G-League leaders, Queta held top-five places in blocks (4th) and blocks per game (4th) en route to earning All-NBA G-League First Team and All-Defensive Team honors.
Ellis, who was signed to a two-way contract following the 2022 NBA Draft, averaged 16.0 points, 5.2 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.6 steals per game while shooting 44 percent from three-point range during 23 appearances with Stockton.
Both players will be participating in Sacramento’s Summer League slate of games that will begin on Monday night in the California Classic at Golden 1 Center.
