The Sacramento Kings will see the Warriors in another bracket-based tournament later this year.

Sacramento will face off with 2022-23 playoff foes Golden State Warriors. Also in the West Group C are the Memphis Grizzlies, Minnesota Timberwolves, Oklahoma City Thunder and the San Antonio Spurs as every team pursues the NBA Cup in the inaugural NBA In-Season Tournament.

Tournament group games tip-off on Friday, Nov. 3 in the teams’ respective markets. According to a press release, group games are scheduled for “Tournament Nights,” which will be every Tuesday and Friday night throughout November. No tournament games are scheduled for Election Day on Nov. 7.

The semifinals and championship then take place on Dec. 7 and 9 in Las Vegas.

“We are excited to introduce the NBA In-Season Tournament as an opportunity to further enhance and innovate around our season structure,” Joe Dumars, NBA Executive Vice President, Head of Basketball Operations, said in a press release. “With the addition of this new marquee event on the NBA calendar, we are focused on providing players and teams with another competition to win, engaging fans in a different way and driving further interest in the early portion of the regular-season schedule.”
