Senior writer for Sports Illustrated, Chris Mannix, joined Cattles & Ramie Thursday to talk about the Draymond Green suspension, why it was warranted for the player and how Golden State counters at home. Plus, how has Sacramento’s defense turned around in the playoffs?

All that & more on Cattles & Ramie.

“It certainly wasn’t from the right scheme, because Mike Brown is an excellent defensive coach. They just weren’t very good. And they don’t have a lot of plus defenders in their rotation.” Mannix said on the show. “But give them credit, De’Aaron Fox took the challenge of chasing around Steph Curry. [Davion] Mitchell has been really good in this series. [Kevin] Huerter has played above his head, I thought defensively, in some of these situations. So I think you first have to give the Kings a lot of credit for how they’re playing.”

Topics discussed include:

  • Chris’s thoughts on the Draymond Green suspension
  • Are the Clippers in trouble without Kawhi Leonard?
  • Can the Warriors rally without Draymond?
  • Does Steph Curry need to care the Warriors tonight?
  • Will the Kings take advantage of the Warriors in Game 3?
  • Has the Kings’ defense gotten enough credit?
  • Will their be a different whistle in Game 3?
