San Francisco 49ers left tackle Trent Williams is trending toward being a true game-time decision Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Williams sprained his ankle in the Cleveland Browns game in Week 6 and has been out of action since. He returned to practice Thursday and Friday but in a limited capacity.
“I think he’s real questionable to be playing. That’s what my eyes see,” 49ers coach Kyl Shanahan said Friday about Trent Williams and the possibility of him playing. “We got tomorrow. Tomorrow is Saturday. If it’s no tomorrow, then we’ll wait until game time.”

Shanahan also announced Guard Aaron Banks (toe) and Drake Jackson (knee) have officially been ruled out. Also questionable for Sunday are defensive tackle Javon Hargrave and cornerback Samuel Womack. Shanahan said Hargrave has that designation because “his knee acted up in practice” Thursday.
The team did have some positive news though. Wide receiver Deebo Samuel returned to practice this week as a full participant also after missing the last two games. He’s expected to be cleared for Sunday’s matchup against the Jaguars.
