As Kings fans were celebrating a Grizzlies loss last night, there was more NBA entertainment for fans to point and laugh at, thanks to Draymond Green.

The Golden State Warriors just rattled off a five-game home winning streak, before losing in prime time over the weekend in Los Angeles to the Lakers. Looking to right the ship, the Warriors traveled to Oklahoma City to face off against the Thunder Tuesday night.

One sequence at the end of the first half illustrates the Warriors’ 7-25 road woes.

Draymond Green appeared to break away from his defender and was wide open in the lane. He then frantically waved his hands, trying to get a pass from teammate Jordan Poole. When Poole instead passed to Klay Thompson, Green turned and walked towards the sidelines. What he didn’t see though, was Thompson tried to pass Green the ball, which resulted in a turnover.

Luckily for the Warriors, the Thunder could not capitalize on the turnover, even with Green never making his way down the court to play defense.

Green did not speak to the media following the team’s 137-128 loss, but coach Steve Kerr was asked about the play. He said the team was “a little disconnected” in the first half.

Draymond Green and the Warriors will look to bounce back Thursday against the Memphis Grizzlies.
