Chris Webber is coming back to Sacramento.

The Kings legend is returning to promote his memoir, “By God’s Grace” and check out a couple of games while he’s in town.

“My time in Sacramento holds a very special place in my heart,” Webber said in a press release announcing the appearances. “I am excited to connect with the fans and share my story with them.”

The first opportunity fans will have to meet Webber is on Thursday, April 11, for an intimate book reading and meet and greet at the Revival inside the Kimpton Sawyer. Tickets are currently available for $150.

On Saturday, April 13, the Guild Theater, 2828 35th St., will host Webber as part of the Oak Park Speaker Series. Tickets are currently available, starting at $75. After that event, he’ll appear at the River Cats game against the El Paso Chihuahuas to participate in a book signing and throw out the first pitch.

In between events, he’ll attend the Sacramento Kings’ final two home games on Friday, April 12, and Sunday, April 14, against the Phoenix Suns and Portland Trail Blazers. Fans will be able to purchase Webber’s book in the team’s store.

Traded from Washington to Sacramento in May of 1998, he averaged 23.5 points, 1.5 blocks, 1.5 steals, 4.8 assists and 10.6 rebounds over his seven seasons with the team. Over 17 years in the NBA, the former Rookie of the Year and five-time All-Star averaged 20.7 points, 9.8 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game. As the franchise player for the Kings, Chris Webber helped lead his teams to the postseason in each of his seven seasons in a Sacramento uniform.
