After sitting the past few games, it appears Deebo Samuel is on track to return to the practice field after the bye week.
The San Francisco 49ers’ wide receiver made an appearance on Up & Adams with NFL personality Kay Adams Thursday, giving his thoughts on where the team is at on their week off. Samuel was later asked about his health, missing the last two contests with a hairline fracture in his shoulder.
While he will still need to be evaluated upon returning to practice, it appears Samuel has already circled Week 10 at Jacksonville as his return to game action.

“I’m ready to go,” Deebo Samuel said on the show Thursday.
Samuel, 27, has been a focal part of the 49ers offense since being drafted in 2019. While his stats may not reflect that always (397 scrimmage yards this season), the South Carolina alum has been sorely missed by the 49ers.
Samuel’s declaration on Thursday falls in line with his activity level over the past few weeks. The wideout had taken part in workouts and running drills off to the side of practice before Week 8, with no brace or harness catering to his injury.
Samuel was also asked about the team’s deadline acquisition of defensive end Chase Young from the Washington Commanders. The wideout was elated to add the talented pass rusher to the 49ers, hearing the news while working out at the team facility Tuesday.
“I mean, it’s just crazy all the guys that we got on the [defensive line],” Deebo Samuel stated. “Just to add him, he’s already had such an impact in his career, just for him to be a part of the team, It’s kind of amazing… Just to add him, it’s just an extra little [boost] that I think we need.
“I actually called him after I got the news, because I was out there on the field working out. I was like, ‘bro, you ready to come out?’ And he’s like, ‘man, I was just on the massage table and get a call and I’m going to the Niners’. He’s like ‘I’m ready to go.'”
