Week 2 for the 49ers is right around the corner Faithful, as they open top their home schedule against a familiar foe, the Seattle Seahawks.

Since the 49ers relocated to Santa Clara, the Seahawks are 7-1 in games played at Levi’s Stadium. The all-time record between the two squads is 30-17 in favor of Seattle.
After trading away Russell Wilson over the offseason, many expected the Seahawks to spent their 2022 season rebuilding for the future. But Week 1 was the exact opposite, defeating Wilson and the Denver Broncos, 17-16, to kick off the new year.
“They’re going to play really hard. They’re going to run around. They’re going to hit. They’re coached very well. They got a bunch of talent on their team and it didn’t surprise me how they looked,” head coach Kyle Shanahan said Wednesday about their upcoming opponents.

Grab your raincoats faithful, the chance of rain Sunday afternoon has only multiplied in the last few days, hitting an 70% chance of rain at the time of kickoff.

After last week’s second half collapse in Chicago, fans probably aren’t thrilled to see scattered showers in this one, but nevertheless the 49ers have a plan in place to get more acclimated to the conditions.

Yeah, later on in the week for sure we’ll throw wet balls, later in the week. But that’s not something that we’re a whole lot worried about,” quarterback Trey Lance said Wednesday.
