NBC Sports California analyst Kayte Christensen joined “The Carmichael Dave Show with Jason Ross” on Wednesday morning to talk about the Sacramento Kings 132-96 loss to the Dallas Mavericks Tuesday night.

Tuesday’s matchup with the Mavericks was the Kings’ fifth game in seven days, across multiple timezones and even one in a different country. Was Tuesday’s loss the result of fatigue?

“If you don’t have multiple guys in the starting lineup scoring at a high level, that’s not a big night for De’Aaron [Fox], that’s not a big night for Domas [Sabonis], you’re putting yourself in a situation where it’s going to be hard to win games, especially against a team like Dallas,” Christensen said.

The Kings and Mavericks get two days off and meet again Friday night.

Additional topics discussed include:

  • What is a spray three?
  • Why it’s taxing to play five games in seven nights
  • The Sacramento Kings have had the third-toughest schedule this season
  • Luka Doncic doesn’t have explosive athleticism but tremendous fundamentals
  • Should Caitlin Clark take the $5 million deal from Ice Cube to play in BIG3?
